Lorraine Ben
Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin Canada
Lorraine Ben was appointed Chief Executive for Lockheed Martin Canada in June 2019. Lorraine rejoined Lockheed Martin Canada in August 2015 as Director of Business Development and Strategy. In this role, she was responsible for the development and execution of strategies to grow the business and strengthen customer relationships.
Under her leadership, Lockheed Martin Canada is responsible for delivering on country-specific strategies, maintaining and strengthening strategic customer and partner relationships. As the corporation's in-country lead, Lorraine facilitates access to Lockheed Martin’s broad portfolio of products and technologies to help Canada address its security and defence challenges.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin Canada in 2015, she served in a variety of Business Development Executive roles with Lockheed Martin in Owego New York, TELUS, Accenture and IBM.
Lorraine graduated from Laurentian University with a bachelor’s degree in English/Law.
Glenn Copeland
General Manager, Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary & Missions Systems (RMS)
Glenn Copeland was appointed General Manager of Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) January 2022. He leads an organization of close to 900 employees across Canada.
Glenn began in 2009 as a Project Manager within the Halifax Class Modernization program. In 2014, he was appointed to the Senior Leadership Team where he assumed the role of Economic Development Opportunities Lead. Prior to accepting his appointment to GM, Glenn held the position of Director of Business Development, Lockheed Martin Canada RMS.
A former Senior Naval Officer with extensive operational sea time, Glenn led the RCN’s Fleet Readiness and Training Team. He was the Tactics and Procedural Development officer at the RCN’s warfare school, Operations Officer for the Sea Training Atlantic group, and Executive Officer of Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship ST. JOHN’S.
Glenn is past president of the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Nova Scotia and the Atlantic Alliance Aerospace and Defence Association.
Michael Baker
Site Manager, Lockheed Martin Skunk Works® in Calgary
Michael (Mike) Baker is the Site Manager at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works in Calgary.
Mike began his career at CDL Systems in 2001 as a software engineering intern and moved into a full-time software engineering role in 2002. In 2005, Mike was appointed Lead Software Developer for the VCS-4586 software product where he led the integration with the US Army’s Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS) program. Lockheed Martin acquired CDL Systems in 2012. In 2016, he was appointed Program Manager for the VCSi software product and oversaw its integration with several industry-leading UAVs. In February 2022, Mike was appointed as General Manager for the Calgary-based team. In 2023, CDL Systems joined Lockheed Martin Skunk Works.
Mike graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
Jim Andrews
General Manager, Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions
Jim Andrews is General Manager of Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions Montreal, an engine MRO and test complex for the CFM and CF34 variants, and is responsible for all aspects of the facility’s overall performance.
During the seven years prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Jim held positions of increasing responsibility with Aveos/Air Canada Technical Services (ACTS) including Operations, Business Development and Strategies. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Engine Solutions Business. In that role, Jim successfully diversified the business portfolio by growing competitive engine repair and overhaul services to a global customer base.
For 12 years preceding ACTS/ Aveos, Jim was part of the senior leadership team at Rolls-Royce Canada, holding positions in Customer Business, Operations and Engineering.
Jim graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
