Watch: This A-10 Warthog’s Maneuverability Is So Satisfying To Watch
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is the famous Close Air Support aircraft of the United States Air Force. Since its introduction in 1977, it is still flying even after 45 years. When we talk about the A-10, all eyes are on its GAU-8 Avenger Gatling gun mounted on this aircraft.
Sure this gun is awesome, but we cannot forget about the Warthog’s maneuverability. A-10 offers pilots the ability to do incredible maneuvers at low speeds and low altitudes. This maneuverability of the A-10 helps the pilots a lot, especially in combat. Within 20 seconds, this aircraft can turn around and fly another round of fire. Apart from the pilot’s skills, the maneuverability of the A-10s helps a lot to return to the base with no harm after dodging powerful surface-to-air attacks from enemies.
What is more interesting about the A-10 is its ability to survive enemy attacks and keep flying even in some of its main system failures. Watch this amazing video showing incredible maneuvers by the A-10.
