It is normal to see vapor cones form around fighter jets, but have you seen a vapor cone around a bomber? This awesome footage was filmed back in the 2000s during RAF Mildenhall Air Fete.

The Rockwell B-1B Lancer is an aircraft of the USAF bomber fleet. Even if the first flight of B-1 was done 47 years ago, this aircraft is serving the United States Air Force bomber fleet with the B-2 Spirit and the B-52 Stratofortress till today. This long-range variable-sweep wing bomber can fly at a speed of more than 900 mph.

During the RAF Mildenhall Air Show, this B-1 bomber performed high-speed low passes at more than 900 km/h. One Lucky Youtuber called “vvstealthvv” could capture one of the rarest footage of a vapor cone forming around the B-1 Lancer which was performing low-altitude flyovers at this air show.

It is very spectacular to see a gigantic bomber performing low-level flying and even better to see a sonic boom around it. We are sure that you will enjoy these B-1 low flyovers too.
