While crawling on the internet, we found an intense video where an F-16 pilot is in trouble. The following video was recorded on the 19th of January 1991. That was the time when the operation desert storm was happening. It was taken during a US Air Force F-16, callsign Stroke 3 raiding Iraqi military targets during the daytime.

About the F-16 Fighting Falcon

The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multi-role fighter aircraft developed by the General Dynamics for the United States Air Force. Even though it was first designed as a day fighter later it improved into a very successful all-weather multirole aircraft. This single-engine fighter jet can reach a top speed of just over Mach 2 which is over 1500 MPH. Even if it was introduced 43 years ago it still serves the USAF as a multi-role fighter aircraft.

The video starts with the pilots’ permission arming just before the takeoff. Then around 3rd minute, you can hear the warning beeps alerting him that the missile was locked into his aircraft. Even if the video is not of the best quality, you can feel the tension of a fighter pilot in real life. You can hear how hard he struggles to stay alive. Did you notice the SAM smoke trails in the 6th minute?
