Watch: B-1B Lancer Doing A Mind Blowing High-Speed Low Pass
The Rockwell B-1 Lancer is a supersonic variable-sweep wing bomber of the United States Air Force. Although its first flight took place in December of 1974, this bomber is serving the United States Air Force bomber fleet till today with 2 other strategic bombers the B-52 Stratofortress and the B-2 Spirit.
It is very rare to see a B-1 Lancer do a high-speed low pass unless in an Airshow. This aircraft is a long-range, multi-role heavy bomber and you don’t see them flying low every day. It can carry a total payload of 75,000 lbs and has a top speed of Mach 1.2. According to Boeing, the B-1 is projected to fly till the year 2040.
