We all admit that the US Navy Blue Angels are one of the best flight demonstration teams in the world. First founded by Chester W. Nimitz on April 24, 1946, the US Navy fighter jet demonstration squadron Blue Angels has done some top-class aerobatic demonstrations not only in the United States but all over the world.
The Blue Angels aerobatic unit is also the second oldest formal aerobatic team in the world. They use US Navy’s fighter jet F/A-18E Super Hornets for demonstrations and for transportations of the team C-130J Super Hercules is used. All the Blue Angels are carrier-capable and these birds can fly at Mach 1.8 speed. Approximately Blue Angels team performs at least 60 shows per year.
