According to a social media report, Russia is turning to “outdated” aircraft after losing two dozen Su-35 Fighter jets. General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a Facebook post that Russia was going to start their old fleet of Su-24M bombers after Russia’s forces lost 2 squadrons of fighter jets in the war.

Ukrainian Brigadier General Alexei Gromov said,

“The SU-35 aircraft also showed a low level of durability. During the full-scale aggression, the occupants lost two squadrons of such aircraft—it’s about 24 units”

Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov said that Russia plans to use outdated Su-24M bombers and Russia’s accuracy in recent strikes has been low since their pilots want to avoid being shot down.

The general said to Reuters.

“The enemy’s planes and helicopters avoid flying into the range of our air defenses, and therefore the accuracy of these strikes is low”

However, Moscow continues to say that its military actions are going according to plan. Putin’s forces are now more focused on the southeastern Donbas region in recent months.
