Have You Seen An Inverted F/A-18 On Top Of A F-14 Tomcat?

Grumman F-14 Tomcat was introduced to the United States Navy in 1974. 9 years later McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet came into services. The Hornet replaced the Tomcat in 2006 after its retirement. Many have wondered which one out of these fighter aircraft is better. We are not comparing these amazing aircraft to decide which one is better but instead, we are showing awesome things that these fighter jets can do together.

As aviation fans we all have seen fighter jet airshows, at least from videos. This flyby you are about to witness today is very special and spectacular. This videos was taken while both the F-14 Tomcat and the F/A-18 super hornet was at service. We beleive this was one of the best ways to give the Tomcat a retirement show.

We can only imagine how awesome it was to witness this event live from the excitement and the cheering of the crowd. Even if the video is short and the quality is low considering that it was taken around 2006, we are pretty sure that you all will enjoy it!
